Community and connection took center stage as the Aviation Metals team headed to the greens for the AMP Open Charity Golf Tournament. It was a spectacular day at the course, marked by clear skies, a few impressive birdies, and even a couple of bald eagle sightings that felt like a fitting tribute to the mission of the day.

While the competition was friendly, the true highlight was the opportunity to support Folds of Honor, an organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the families of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders.
In the fast-paced world of aerospace and specialty alloys, it is easy to get caught up in logistics and lead times. However, events like the AMP Open serve as a vital reminder that our industry is built on a foundation of strong relationships and shared values.
Spending the day with the incredible people who drive the aerospace community forward reinforces why we do what we do. It isn’t just about the materials; it’s about the people who genuinely enjoy working together to solve complex challenges and support one another.
We are incredibly proud to be part of an industry that consistently shows up for our veterans and their families. The work Folds of Honor does is life-changing, and we are honored to have played a small part in their mission this week.
A huge thank you goes out to the event organizers and all the participants who made the day a success. We’re already looking forward to next year!
